What will this session cover?
This session will examine the causes of bedwetting in children and the available treatment options.
We will present current research findings and NICE guidelines, and offer insights into how to improve adherence and treatment outcomes by applying the principles of informed choice.
The training is intended for all healthcare professionals who work with children and young people in any setting. It will be particularly beneficial for those involved in children’s bladder and bowel services or enuresis clinics.
Objectives:
- The impact of enuresis on children and their families.
- An understanding of the factors that may impact.
- First line treatment options.
- Management of children whose enuresis is refractory to initial treatment.
- Using informed choice to improve treatment adherence and outcomes.
